BIO

Hi, I'm Katy! I was born in Darlington, County Durham and raised in Nottingham before moving to Manchester in 2019. I started acting in a youth drama group when I was 13 and quickly found my passion for performing. Alongside acting, I have a huge love for music (you'll definitely find me amongst a sweaty crowd at a gig somewhere), I'm really into my fitness and love running (an excellent stress reliever!) and I love water (being in it swimming, under it scuba diving, or on top of it in some sort of boat).

In 2019, I started drama school at ALRA North which took me on a turbulent journey, training through the Covid-19 pandemic and the schools change in leadership and curriculum in 2020. In early 2022, and just before my final term at ALRA started, the school went into liquidation leaving over 300 students in the dark. We were very graciously taken on by Rose Bruford College and formed Rose Bruford College Wigan where I completed my training.

I have kicked off my career as a professional actor by filming shorts and touring theatre. I signed with the wonderful Shelley Barrett Management in 2022 and am currently based in Manchester, with bases in Darlington, Newcastle, Doncaster and Nottingham.
